I'm Ben, founder of Flowjoy Studio. Before this, I spent over a decade designing brands, campaigns, and video for national and global names inside a multi-award-winning Leicester agency, not building a portfolio on the side. That's real agency experience with big clients, aimed now at an industry that rarely gets it: UK heating and cooling.

Most heating and cooling businesses are sold marketing by people who have never worked on a brand at national scale. That’s the gap this studio exists to close.
From print floors to national brands to heating and cooling
I started in print, managing and creating specialised inks for retailers including Sainsbury's and Tesco, then moved into reprographics, designing labels for brands like Ginsters and Heineken.
I studied for a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design and Illustration at De Montfort University, and later returned to speak at both De Montfort and Loughborough University about web and branding, including a spell of guest lecturing.
From there I joined a multi-award-winning Leicester agency, creating brands, video, animation, and marketing campaigns for clients including IKEA, Samsung, MTV, and British Wheelchair Basketball.
Since 2019, Flowjoy Studio has put that experience to work for one industry: UK heating and cooling businesses that deserve the same calibre of brand and marketing work as the national names I used to work on.
