This policy explains what personal information Flowjoy Studio Ltd collects through flowjoy.co.uk, why we collect it, and what your rights are. We collect very little, so it’s short.

Flowjoy Studio Ltd is registered in England and Wales (company number 16089091). Registered office: Institute Research Lab, Upper Rooms, Baxter Gate, Loughborough, LE11 1TG. We are the data controller for this website and are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (registration number 00014230118).

What we collect
When you send an enquiry through our contact form, we collect your name, email address and business name, your main town or postcode, and, if you choose to give them, your phone number, website, when you would like to start and anything else you tell us. We also note which part of the site you clicked through from (for example, a particular plan). If you email or call us, we keep that correspondence.
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and running. We don’t use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on this website.
Why we use it
We use your enquiry details to reply to you, arrange a call and, if we go on to work together, prepare a proposal. Our legal basis is legitimate interests: responding to a business enquiry you chose to send us. If you become a client, we use your details to carry out our contract with you.
We won’t add you to a marketing mailing list unless you ask us to.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run this website and handle enquiries: Vercel (website hosting), Sanity (the content system the site is built on, which doesn’t hold enquiry details), Resend (delivering enquiry emails) and Attio (the system we use to keep track of enquiries and clients). They only process your information on our instructions.
We don’t sell or rent your information to anyone.
International transfers
Some of these providers store data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, the transfer is protected by UK adequacy regulations or by the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don’t lead to work are deleted within 24 months of our last contact with you. Client records are kept for as long as we work together and then for six years, which is how long UK company and tax law expects business records to be kept. You can ask us to delete your details sooner at any time, and we will unless the law requires us to keep them.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, object to how we use it, or send it to you in a portable format. Email hello@flowjoy.co.uk and we’ll respond within one month.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. We’d appreciate the chance to put it right first.
Cookies
This website doesn’t set analytics or advertising cookies, which is why there’s no cookie banner. If that changes, we’ll ask for your consent before setting any and update this policy.
Our clients’ customers
If we build and run a website for your business, enquiries from your customers (forms, texts, calls and chat) are handled by us on your behalf under a data processing agreement. That information is covered by your business’s own privacy policy, not this one.
Changes to this policy
We’ll update this page if what we collect or how we use it changes, and change the date at the top.
